Prom planning works best when the student has a voice in the look. A suit or tuxedo can support personal expression, but the goal is an outfit they enjoy wearing—not a promise to change their confidence overnight.
Listen before choosing
Ask what they like about the looks they have saved. Color, silhouette and small details may matter more than following a trend or matching someone else’s expectations.
Talk about comfort
Consider how the outfit will feel while sitting, walking and dancing. Discuss fit preferences with the Design Expert and the shoes or layers planned for the evening.
Agree on the budget
Confirm the selected design and total price together. Ask about current payment plan options and their terms rather than assuming a particular discount applies.
Leave enough time
Custom orders can take 6–8 weeks. Bring the actual prom date to the consultation and ask about the order’s expected plan before committing.
Explore the possibilities together
Visit our Prom page, suit inspiration and tuxedo inspiration. A few references and an open conversation are enough to begin.
