TO THE SELF-MADE COMMUNITY

After a period of careful consideration, and recognizing the social responsibility we have to you and our community, we wanted to give you an important update on Self-Made Couture’s retail business. We have made the decision to transition to virtual appointments and temporarily close our physical locations in the U.S. and Canada. We will keep you updated as the situation unfolds.

Our dedicated team will be available virtually to consult with you regarding the design of your custom look(s), gather your measurements and accept your payment electronically. Our website remains open and customers with existing measurements can log in to their account to purchase. New customers can do the same and follow our step-by-step video guides to easily set up their measurement profile and complete their order.

Orders in production are unaffected.

COVID-19 FAQS

Are showrooms still open? I have an appointment booked, is it still going ahead?

To protect the health and safety of our staff and our customers, all retail showrooms are closed until the government says otherwise. All appointments are considered virtual appointments at this time.

What if I want to see fabrics in person?

We can provide mobile appointments (in the Greater Toronto area only) at this time but this is by special request only, contact us for that option. Otherwise during the virtual appointments we will provide photos of the fabrics and live video (if possible). Our online business remains the same and any look you have in mind we can discuss via chat or phone regardless of it being on our website or not

  • If you have ordered from us before, you already have a measurement profile. You can chat with us via website, phone call or virtual appointment to design your look and process your order for any item you want (not just what is on the website).
  • If this is your first time, you can chat with us to design your look, create an account and follow our simple video guide to submit your measurements all virtually.

Can I purchase now and enter my measurements at a later date?

Yes, we usually allow 14 days for our customers to enter their measurements after purchasing. If you are coming to the end of this timeframe and need more time, please contact our team.

Will I experience delays receiving my order?

Our production team is able to produce your order and ship in four weeks. Please note that we will not be able to start producing your order until you have completed your measurements.

Can I get COVID-19 from my Self-Made Couture package?

We partner with the world’s largest suit manufacturers. Every garment produced by Self-Made Couture is held to the highest production standards in the world. The World Health Organization has advised that the risk from packages shipped is very low and that you may open your package and wear your garments.
