How Self-Made Couture Started.
Self-Made Couture began in 2015 with Brandon Chestnut's idea to make luxury custom clothing more accessible.
After experiencing custom tailoring overseas, Brandon saw what was possible when clothing wasn't limited to what was available on a rack. That experience inspired the idea for Self-Made Couture.
What started with custom suits has grown into a team creating custom clothing and experiences for people across the country—all with the same belief at the center:

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Brandon Chestnut
With a passion for fashion and a keen eye for styling, Brandon's journey began in Indianapolis, Indiana. From college days at Purdue University, where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated, to pursuing an MBA in International Business and Marketing at Cleveland State University, his love for custom suits blossomed. During an internship in Shanghai, China, Brandon found his true calling, leading him to establish Self-Made Couture.
Now, alongside his wife, Sydney Chestnut, they bring luxury fashion to multiple locations with a team of Self-Made Design Experts ready to inspire and empower your unique style.
